WELCOME!

We specialize in telling the stories of Chicago women who have struggled to achieve fairness and benefits for women in the workplace. The Working Women's History Project interviews women who are active in social justice movements. We also research the lives of activist women from the past. We have produced performance pieces telling their stories and presented them at our galas, in schools, unions, arts festivals, and on CAN television. We have also hosted events in which women tell their own stories. Our web site will enable us to reach more people.
